Specializing in high-end mirror-finish stainless steel customization, we offer mirror-finish stainless steel with surface finishes up to No. 8 mirror grade, widely used in architectural decoration, elevator interiors, and luxury goods displays. Whether it's mirrored steel sheets, coils, or finished mirror polished steel in custom sizes, we can precisely match your needs. Carefully selected 304/316 grades ensure our mirror-finished stainless steel boasts excellent corrosion resistance and high reflectivity. From standard specifications to specialized mirror polished steel surface treatments (such as anti-fingerprint and PVD coatings), we offer a one-stop procurement solution, supporting small-batch customization and rapid prototyping.
Grinding: The mirror finish stainless steel is initially ground with coarse abrasives to remove any surface imperfections or scratches.
Sanding: The mirror polished stainless steel surface is then sanded with progressively finer abrasive paper, which smooths out the scratches and leaves a smooth surface.
Buffing: The mirror finish stainless steel sheet is then buffed with a series of polishing wheels that use progressively finer abrasive materials, starting with a coarse bristle brush and finishing with a soft felt pad.
Finishing: The final finishing step involves using a chemical agent to create a highly polished surface of SS mirror finish by removing any residual material left by the polishing process.
Cleaning: After the polishing process, the surface is cleaned with a mild detergent and water to remove any remaining residue.
Protective Film: At last, a protective film is applied to prevent damage during transportation and handling.
Ten years of normal indoor use is fine, but avoid harsh rubbing with steel wool! For outdoor or frequent use, we recommend applying a protective film or anti-fingerprint treatment, both of which we offer.
316 contains molybdenum, making it more resistant to salt and alkali corrosion, so it's only suitable for use near the sea or in chemical plants. For general interior decoration, 304 is sufficient and can save you 30% in costs. Don't waste money.
We can cut it using either laser or water jet cutting, but the edges of mirror-polished stainless steel will turn black after cutting. For jobs requiring high detail, we recommend cutting first and then polishing the edges. We can provide free planning upon receipt of your drawings.
Don't worry, we'll cut a sample for confirmation before each batch goes into production. The color variation of plates from the same furnace of molten steel does not exceed industry standards.
